About KAPTLD The Kenya Association for Prevention of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases (KAPTLD) is a national nonprofit nongovernmental organization registered and operating in Kenya. KAPTLD is responsible for enhancing public - private partnerships for management of tuberculosis, respiratory health, shaping respiratory health research agenda, advocating for provision of internationally agreed quality of care health, articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to TB DOTS Centres and offering training/education on respiratory health issues of public health importance. KAPTLD is a constituent member of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (IUATLD) – the UNION, and a member of the Stop TB partnership. |
